Who's In Charge of Your Life?
This was Brian Martin and Peter Loeffen’s first book. Peter was general manager of IT, at a large telecom, and a graduate of one of Brian's five-day senior leadership programs. Peter asked Brian if he would read and critique Peter's dissertation on leadership, for his Masters degree. Brian liked Peter's writing style and asked Peter if he would ghost write a book that Brian wanted to write, for graduates of the IAS learning group leadership programs. This would give participants a reference about their IAS experiences. Brian talked, and Peter wrote.
In the course of this one-year project of writing this book Brian discovered Peter had a dream to be a published author, and he put Peter's name on the book as co-author.
The book's main premise is about the principles of success and accomplishment. It is not rocket science, it is a set of behaviors, that support creating outstanding results. It works.
The book had three printings and was published by Penguin. as a soft cover book. It was slightly re-written and translated into Japanese. The book was endorsed by 10 famous Japanese business leaders, and published by Shufunotomo.
This is the first time “ Who's in charge of your life” has been made into an e-book.. This book was ”dedicated to the children” and the proceeds were donated by Brian and his wife to give several thousand teenagers scholarships, in leadership and confidence building programmes.
