Creating Prosperity

Written by Brian Martin

If you look around the nations of the world, it seems that at least 70% of a nation’s GDP comes from small and medium sized enterprises.  Sometimes it is as high as 80%.

When you start your own business, do you realise that you can create prosperity?  This is one of the ways to decrease poverty, and has been shown in many emerging or developing countries.

How do you increase the economy of a country, by creating your own small business? Small- and medium-sized enterprises provide jobs and contribute to most of the world’s global economies.  The best way to create jobs and decrease unemployment is to encourage small and medium enterprises.  They are a major way to decrease poverty and to increase the economy. Small and medium enterprises are the backbone of the global economy.

Small and medium enterprises are the engine of growth. It’s time to find yourself a business opportunity. Make sure it is something you will love!

Excellent point, Brian.

If you picked up any additional information (statistics, human interest information) on this subject while at APEC I think your readers (or at least me Smile ) would love to read it.

Take care,

Jeff
