Deciding What You Want To Do, To Be What You Want to Be

Written by Brian Martin

My organisation has been teaching Leadership and Communication to thousands of executives for 20+ years, in some of the world’s famous companies, and we have as the backbone to our teachings a number of principles for creating outstanding results.

The Principles of Leadership, the Principles of Accomplishment and How to Create Results. They all ask the question I am asking you.

What is it that you want? Decide, clearly, specifically, positively what you want.

Let me explain why this is such a vital and important question. If you don’t know where you are going, all roads lead to nowhere. Decisiveness, the ability to make decisions, is an attribute that ALL successful people have. It is better to make the wrong decision, than NO decision.

Procrastination, not making decisions, comes at a very expensive cost.  I saw the figures of loss to US business: it ran into billions of dollars.

This is your life we are talking about here. What is the cost of your life?

You have this huge untapped potential inside you.
