I want you to go to a mirror when you first get out of bed.

And last thing before you go to bed.
And smile, at the face you are looking at, surprisingly it will smile back at you.
Looking at the face in your mirror, I want you to say.
Thank you, (and your name).
So I would say
‘Thank you Brian’
Please do this at least three times, morning and night.
If you think I am a little cuckoo or crazy, I am not.
This exercise will give you two things.
Firstly it is challenging you to take a risk with yourself, (there’s no one watching, only the person in the mirror).
This is challenging you to get out of your comfort zone, to do a new behaviour.
If you want a much faster result in building your confidence say:
(Your name), ‘I love you’
By the time you have done this for about ten days, you will find:
A. The person, looking back at you in the mirror, is a very nice person and you are getting to know them, no need to be shy with them any longer.
B. Your self confidence is getting much stronger. Confidence is the biggest thing we humans need from when we are little ones, to when we are old.
