Money can buy everything except the things we want and need the most.
The world is so desperately short of leaders in all our walks of life.
Thank you for showing that you have the ability to be one.
- Being an amazing Mum and Dad.
- Raising children to experience love and respect.
- Serving and greeting people with a smile and a cheerful word, that brightens their day.
- Encouraging people is the greatest shot in the arm you can give a person.
You do not have to be a manager to do this.
Let me share with you about my friend Bob. In fact he’s my best friend, which makes him very special as I really do have some wonderful and amazing friends. I have known Bob for all of his life. He is a New Zealander who went to North America when he was 18 years old. He met a wonderful and beautiful girl. They have been together for 20 years, since they were teenagers.
Bob has always had big dreams and hopes for big financial wealth, which to date have eluded him. I have always given Bob counsel when he’s asked me my viewpoint. I have avoided giving him advice, which has not been easy on occasions for me. However, I know Bob wants to make his own path, and more importantly be his own ‘Pathfinder’. He is a very hard worker and provider for his family to the best of his ability.
I have some exceptionally financially wealthy friends, and associates amongst my relationships. None of them in my eyes is as wealthy as my friend, Bob. I have told him and his wife, "You are the wealthiest people I know."
I have learnt money can buy everything except the things we want and need the most.
The love and fun inside his family is spiritual. There is just so much love in his house.
This is what I mean by being a Leader. Bob always has a smile and a warm word for people. His daughters tell me, "My Daddy is so much fun." Wow. No wonder Bob is one of my greatest teachers.
