Recently my son, who lives 8,000 kilometers away from me, gave his two little daughters (aged seven and nine) email addresses.
Unbeknownst to him, they started emailing their Granddad.
I just can’t express the joy that I felt in receiving emails that said, “I love you Granddad.”
In my life I have had many illustrious titles and held many important positions, but the second most important title I have ever had is ‘Granddad’. At this stage of my life, perhaps it’s the most important title I currently hold, as these two beautiful little ladies are still developing and growing. Perhaps their Granddad can have some small part in positively influencing their lives.
For such a long time now, I have been blessed with this incredible ability to love. The emotion of love is incredibly powerful, and if I have a religion, it is LOVE.
For me, love is the most powerful force on the planet.
